Ostick + Williams was commissioned in December 2006 to design a new Further Education College for the Springvale Campus in North West Belfast.
The college will be used for project based learning with groups of students spending several weeks at a time in this satellite facility.
The centre piece of the new college will be a 2 storey high space for flexible learning and teaching. Departments linking to the FLT space include media and broadcasting, leisure and tourism and IT. A wing of cellular incubation units will link to the training suite. The facility has been designed sustainably to an ‘excellent’ Breeam Rating.
