Ostick + Williams were appointed Lead Consultants, Architects and Town Planners for this large retail warehouse scheme located on Boucher Road, Belfast. Following a lengthy planning application process, involving extensive negotiations with local Government and residents, planning approval was received for a Retail Warehouse Park with a total floorspace in excess of 15,000m2 (160,000 sqft).
Anchored by a Homebase DIY Store, a total of 12 units were constructed in 3 phases'. The development also incorporated Civil Engineering works which included the culverting of a river and road widening works.
The prominence of the site and it’s location adjacent to such an important thoroughfare resulted in a contemporary aesthetic, incorporating glazed canopies, shopfront glazing and extensive decorative building illumination. The scheme is further complimented by a comprehensive landscaping scheme.
